The CORAL REEFER is a 28' boat with a 10' beam, custom built in Key West. It has a private cuddy cabin with toilet, a large T-top for shade and the top of the cuddy cabin is a sunning and observation deck for great viewing of the dolphins. There are two (2) swim platforms with steps for easy entry and exit from the water. There is a fresh water rinse to freshen yourself up after snorkeling. There is seating for six. We take a maximum of six (6) passengers per trip. It is powered by twin 150HP Mercury OptiMax eco-friendly engines for a quick trip to the dolphin playgrounds. We provide: cooler with ice for your food and drinks if you would like to bring some, mask, fins, and snorkel with instructions if needed, "noodles" for easy flotation for those who desire it.
The most important thing for you to bring is POLARIZED SUNGLASSES to cut the glare on the water to see the dolphins better. You may also want to bring some of the same things you would take to the beach: swim suit, hat, long sleeved cover up, warm clothing in winter (with the wind chill factor it can be 10 degrees cooler out on the open water than on land), cameras, towels, and whatever else you like. You may bring lotion sunblock but it is actually best if you apply it before you get on the boat. Please do not bring oil base sunblock or any kind of sunblock that sprays on--the overspray gets on the boat and could cause you to slip and fall. In the winter, it is a good idea to bring a wet suit or rent one from any of the local dive shops. It is best to wear boat shoes or boat sandals or any good non-skid light colored rubber soled shoes that does not hurt to get wet. It is not good to wear shoes with black or dark colored soles. |
