The CORAL REEFER is a 21' Mariah with an 8'6" beam. It has a private toilet compartment, a large double bimini top for shade, two (2) swim ladders, one on the stern and one on the bow. There is a fresh water rinse to freshen yourself up after snorkeling. There is a stereo CD player with radio. There is seating for ten but we take a maximum of six (6) paying passengers per trip. The seats are sofa like, large and comfortable. It is powered by a 150HP Mercury outboard engine for a quick trip to the dolphin playgrounds. We provide: cooler with ice for your food and drinks if you would like to bring some, mask, fins, and snorkel with instructions if needed, "noodles" for easy flotation for those who desire it.
The most important thing for you to bring is POLARIZED SUNGLASSES to cut the glare on the water to see the dolphins better. You may also want to bring some of the same things you would take to the beach: swim suit, hat, long sleeved cover up, warm clothing in winter (with the wind chill factor it can be 10 degrees cooler out on the open water than on land), cameras, towels, etc. You may bring lotion sunblock but it is actually best if you apply it before you get on the boat. Please do not bring oil base sunblock or any kind of sunblock that sprays on--the overspray gets on the boat and could cause you to slip and fall. Please sit and lean back on your towel so your sunblock does not get on the seats. In the winter, it is a good idea to bring a wet suit or rent one from any of the local dive shops. |
