The CORAL REEFER is conveniently located in Old Town Key West on the body of water called The Historic Seaport at Key West Bight. The boat slip is located in the city block bounded by Margaret St., Caroline St., William St. and the fourth side is the water. The boat slip is in between the Mac's Sea Garden/Turtle Kraals Restaurant Building Complex and the Waterfront Market Building Complex, on the main Harbor Walk right in front of the Public Restrooms Building which has a huge wheelchair ramp right in front and a palm tree. Look for the Wild Dolphin Adventures sign on a post mounted on the seawall in front of the boat slip (see photos below). There is a large city-run parking lot with the entrance on Margaret St.
Directions if you are driving down US1: When you get to Key West, stay on US1 by bearing to the right; this is also named N. Roosevelt Blvd. Just past mile marker 2, turn right on Palm Ave. At a bend in the road Palm Ave. changes to Eaton St. Go about 3 blocks and turn right onto Margaret St. Go one block and cross Caroline St. and turn left into the entrance gate to the parking lot for the closest most convenient parking. Push the button to get your parking receipt to pay for the parking when you leave. If you decide to park in a metered space instead, bring plenty of change! It is a short walk from the parking lot to the boat slip. There is a shortcut walkway from the parking lot area to go between the Waterfront Market and Mac's Sea Garden. There are a few free parking spaces here and there if you are lucky enough to find one open. Do not park in a tow away zone because they are not shy about towing!
See all the maps below. The first one is an interactive Google Map where you can zoom in and out, drag the map around, go to the satellite photo, or select the hybrid which has the map over laying the photo, etc. If you zoom in the photo all the way up you will note that when the photo was taken the Coral Reefer was out on a trip so the slip is empty.
