When your commitment is made to take a trip with us & you are ready to guarantee your seat(s) or private charter call in your credit card number (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). We will run an authorization to guarantee payment and confirm and hold your reservation date and time. An authorization puts a hold on the funds, without actually making a charge, so that you may not run up your account to your limit in the interim period and thus making the funds unavailable. The authorization is necessary even if you plan on paying with cash to get the 3% discount at which time the authorization is cancelled. This is to guarantee payment and hold your spot for you. If you actually want to pay with the card, you must bring the card to run through our credit card machine. You will need to present a valid driver's license or other form of picture ID that matches the card. Due to the size and popularity of our operation we are significantly affected by cancellations; we therefore adhere to a very strict cancellation policy. If the Captain needs to cancel a trip due to inclement weather (which only very rarely happens), we will try to reschedule you on another trip while you are here. If that is not possible, you will not be charged. If you cancel for any reason with 48 hours or more notice to us there will only be a $10.00 processing fee. If the notice is less than 48 hours and we are able to schedule other passengers to take your seat(s) or time slot you will only be charged the $10.00 processing fee. Otherwise, your card will be charged the full amount. For per person reservations you may take another trip free of charge, space available. For private charters, we can set up a space available time and date but it might get bumped by other reservations later, or the members of the party may take another trip free of charge on a per person trip, space available. Space available means we already have a trip lined up for a given date and time but it does not have the full complement of six passengers booked yet. For example, if we have four people booked, we have space available for two more. If we put you down for a space available trip, there is always the possibility that the space could be sold to someone else right up until departure time and you might need to reschedule for another space available time.
